I fell in love with Talker and Brian in the first book, and it has only grown stronger after reading this installment. The guys are going to therapy, initially to help Talker with his rape experience. Turns out Brian has been holding quite a bit in as well.
When Brian is hospitalized, Talker is forced to reevaluate what is more important in his life. I don't know that I have ever felt quite so sad for characters and what they have had to endure, but these two are definitely at the top of my list. They are just so right for each other. My feelings totally change as they find new ways to help each other through their respective difficulties. I can't wait to read more about them.
